We love our work and believe in what we do. This is the principal quality that defines us as a team, and we are proud that it shows in the carefully crafted work we produce. Accordingly, we focus on a limited number of commissions at a time, so that each project receives our full attention. Every client who comes to the office is accompanied personally, from the first stages of design through to the completion of construction, and the level of service that has become part of the office's reputation is something we take pride in.
Over the years we have developed a distinctive working methodology, based on a thorough analysis of the client's needs and of the programme derived from them, weighed against the economic, cultural and legal conditions that form the wider context of each project. We see the design process as a system of parametric components: measurable, and open to review at every stage. This makes the process transparent and easy to manage, and we specialize in presenting information as clearly and accessibly as possible, so that the client retains full control of the project. At any point along the long road from design to execution, the client can understand precisely what each decision entails.
For us, every project is a new journey. Over years of experience we have developed the expertise to guide clients through the intricacies of local bureaucracy and construction culture, while delivering the highest international standards. This experience and our distinctive methodology have allowed us to lead the delivery of some of the country's most complex and prestigious projects: Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, named one of the five most important projects of the decade; the Israel Museum in Jerusalem; the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Library at the University of Haifa; Tel Aviv-Jaffa City Hall; the TEO cultural center in Herzliya, and more.

The office continues to work on leading public projects alongside commissions for private developers in high-tech, hospitality, commercial and residential sectors. This diversity allows us to develop a cross-disciplinary strategy for each sector and to carry experience and knowledge from one field into another. For all that diversity, the uncompromising quality that is the hallmark of the office is the thread that connects every one of our projects.
The office has a history of collaboration with leading international architects on projects in Israel, including the Israel Museum, the Mandel School at the Hebrew University and Bezalel Academy. Together with Asaf Lerman's international experience, which began at the Architectural Association in London, this has made A. Lerman Architects a preferred choice for international clients seeking to develop a project in Israel.
