At the heart of the Science Park in Rehovot, part of the high-tech campus in the city's developing industrial zone, the campus of the high-tech company Stratasys has been built.
The complex extends over 17 dunams (1.7 hectares) and includes two seven-storey buildings, a central atrium connecting them, a two-level underground parking garage for some 500 vehicles, and landscaped areas including gardens, ecological pools and seating plazas.
The main circulation system revolves around the impressive atrium and is characterized by a system of suspended bridges, transparent elevators and hanging staircases. Together, these turn the atrium into the beating heart of the company's campus and a central place of interaction and encounter.
Considerable attention was devoted to the design of the building façades, creating a unique and iconic language composed of a fine precast concrete system combined with aluminium windows.
The complex was designed to the highest green building standards, meeting the stringent American LEED standard at SILVER level.
